A baby boom for Monaco
For the first part of his reign, Prince Albert II of Monaco could only look to his sisters and their children to make up the line of succession. But suddenly, he can't move for little people lining up to take their place in the wait for the throne. Because his nephew, Andrea Casiraghi, and his wife, Tatiana, have just announced that they are expecting baby number two.
Their first child, Sacha, was born in February 2013 in London and when his parents tied the knot several months later he became third in line for the Monegasque throne. He will be number five by the end of the year when Albert and Charlene welcome twins. And his new brother or sister will complete this baby boom in the sun and take position number six in a succession that will suddenly be very young indeed.
