Prince Louis is celebrating his seventh birthday and there's a new photo, natch. And the young prince is super smiley and more than happy to show off the gap in his teeth, a true sign of growing up.
Louis Arthur Charles, to give him his full name, is well known for his energy and while he took the birthday portrait (by Josh Shinner) sitting down, he also provided a glimpse into the joy of being seven as he was filmed jumping off a log by his proud mum, the Princess of Wales.
The joy of social media for the royals (and there is one, despite the trouble it can also bring) is that they get to share what they want on big days like birthdays. Which means that Louis, as well as continuing to look just like grandpa Michael Middleton, got to be his happy, exuberant self as well as making all prince like and sitting calmly for an official photo. The fourth in line to the throne, who was born on April 23rd 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in London, also got to enjoy his birthday at home as he is currently on Easter holidays. And that really is something to smile about.
