Queen Camilla chooses festive red for Christmas Day

The Queen went for that all tie perennial Christmas colour of red for the big day at Sandringham in 2025. Queen Camilla chose a bright scarlet single breasted coat with a wide brimmed hat for the walk to church.

Her sister in law, Princess Anne, went for the same shade and both chose a scarf to fill in the gap that their coats left around their necks. There were other nods for red from Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie who chose to spend the day at Sandringham rather than with their parents, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, who stayed away after a year of disgrace.

The Princess of Wales chose a brown check coat with significance - it was the outfit she wore at the start of the year to visit the Royal Marsden Hospital where she had previously been treated for cancer. After a much happier year, Kate had plenty to smile about at Christmas.
