Queens of the Belgians

It's not often we get a new queen consort - we've been rather spoiled this year with two in close succession and in the happy circumstances of taking the crown without the sadness of a family death preceding the event.

Tomorrow, Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz becomes queen of her country and the first Belgian to be consort of her people.  To mark the occasion a run down of the six Queen of the Belgians ending with the woman soon to join their ranks.
