Less than ten days to go until Christmas which means a frantic writing of cards session to try and hit the last post that will ensure they get there in time. No such problems for royals around Europe who have the card chosen, written and ready to go ages in advance. The pictures chosen for 2014 are still being revealed one by one so today's Royal Christmas Countdown features the last card sent by Felipe of Spain before he became a monarch.
The card, sent in 2013, shows the still Prince and Princess of Asturias with their two daughters standing in front of famous Spanish art. It wasn't their most popular choice of Christmas card but provides a snapshot of a family on the brink of the throne. It can be seen, along with all the other images on this year's
