A Royal Christmas means a speech. Europe's royals share their thoughts with their fellow citizens at different times of the festive season but perhaps the most famous Christmas speech of all is the Queen's. Every Christmas Day at 3pm, Elizabeth II speaks to her nation. Today is a chance to see the Queen's first televised Christmas speech, broadcast in 1957.
