Kate will be back on official duty in September - less than eight weeks after giving birth to George

It's a long standing engagement according to a royal spokesperson but will be the first chance to see the Cambridges out and about after the new arrival. And if they are anything like most new parents leaving baby for the first time there will be lots of distracted looks and several phone calls home to make sure their little boy is being good.
