Princess Isabella starts school

They go back to school early in Denmark.  And the first girl to be born into the Danish royal family for sixty years became its first schoolgirl in six decades today as Isabella, daughter of Prince Frederik and Princess Mary, joined the primary school that big brother Christian has been attending.

Princess Isabella of Denmark looks excited at the prospect of starting school as she heads off to class with mum and dad

She's now a pupil at Tranegard primary school in Gentofte.  Prince Christian is a few years ahead of little sister who goes into Grade 0 class or preschool.  She was photographed leaving the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen on her way to class with mum and dad looking a lot more nervous than the new girl at school.
