It's not even her birthday for another week yet but Queen Margrethe II of Denmark is already getting in the party spirit. There's an official logo for her 75th birthday and the monarch and her family spent April 8th in Aarhus where they enjoyed a whole day of celebrations which culminated in a concert including a performance from Josh Groban.

The Queen of Denmark was treated to a performance of 'Les Temps des Cathedres' by the singer. He shared the bill with royal ballet dancers, Ida Praetorius and Sebastian Haynes, and comedy group Orkenens Sonner. And after the performance was over, he took to Twitter to say how much he had enjoyed his time singing for Margrethe II.

Queen Margrethe II of Denmark turns 75 on April 16th 2015. She will welcome royals from around Europe to Copenhagen to mark the big occassion and there will be other chances for her fellow countrypeople to celebrate with her as this special birthday approaches. And it all began with a serenade from a star.
