The Duchess of Cambridge was the queen of the High Street on Day Four of her tour of India as she wore two pieces from big names. We got casual and formal on this day in the park, one more successful than the other. And with two outfits on day four, it means that the total for the first part of Kate's visit to India is a nice, neat, round ten. What more could anyone ask?
The casual chic on show first thing in the day was a winning combination. Kate does casual very well and this blouse and trousers look was great.
The blouse was by RM Williams with a pretty, delicate print and a slight ruffle around the neckline. It was loose without being baggy and just looked rather nice.
The trousers, from Zara, were also winners. Brown with a knee detail and slim fitting without being the traditional skinny jeans usually seen in a Kate casual look, these were a real hit and should go on the repeat list now.
From Zara to Top Shop as Kate showed off another High Street design for the second part of the day. Her pink print dress from the famous chain was worn for a visit to Pan Bari village, some elephant feeding and a spot of painting. It's certainly versatile.
It's not my favourite look this tour. Now the novelty of seeing Kate in prints and bright colours has worn off, there isn't enough of interest about this latest offering in pink and black to make it stand out from the crowd.
It's pretty enough and certainly did the job but compared to the Anita Dongre from day one or the Glamourous from day three, it's just OK. It's still a great top ten from Kate so far - tomorrow, we get to see what The Royal Wardrobe in Bhutan has to offer.
And there is a special page about William and Kate in India and Bhutan
