The Queen of the Jungle met the king in waiting today as Prince Charles visited the ITV studios in London. The Prince of Wales was snapped chatting with Toff, otherwise Georgia Toffolo, as he popped into This Morning for some anniversary celebrations. The prince is patron of the Royal Television Society which turns 90 this year while the show that Toff has just joined is marking three decades and counting on screen. No wonder everyone is smiling.
This Morning has changed quite a bit in the thirty years since Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan announced it to the world and to mark its big birthday it got a royal interview. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall settled into the famous sofa for a chat - we get to see the results on Thursday, February 1st 2018. There was also time for a natter with Toff who has just joined This Morning hot on the heels of her win in last year's I'm A Celebrity.....

The royal couple also met many of the presenters and experts who have made the show so popular and got a chance to meet Digby, the This Morning puppy (let's face it, that's always going to win over royal visitors). But that was just for starters. During their time at ITV, they also chatted with the Good Morning Britain crew and met Lorraine. In fact, Charles and Camilla made their way through pretty much the entire daytime line up so chances are if you put the station on tomorrow at some point you will see the heir to the throne and his wife.
The TV stars who met the royals have started sharing photos on social media but we've not had any interview snippets which means we'll all have to stay tuned to see Charles and Camilla talking telly. Coming to a set near you, right after this break......
