The royal couple will also meet the Governor General of Canada during their first day in the country and spend some time at a local school where they will hear about anti-bullying projects. Ending bullying is one of the aims of the Mary Foundation.

The aim of the visit is to discuss and promote business links between Denmark and Canada and the couple's final engagement in Ottawa will focus on that as they attend a reception in their honour at the Danish Embassy where the business delegations will also get a chance to meet and talk.  Frederik and Mary will also visit Toronto during their three days there.
