Eugenie and Jack: the official photos

A picture is worth a thousand words and this one maybe more so. There was talk before the wedding of Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank that the Duke of Edinburgh disliked Sarah, Duchess of York so much he might not even show for the ceremony. And there they are, next to one another, in the official photo. Pure class.

The image is one of four taken by Alex Bramall and shared following Friday's wedding. As well as the official group shot, there is also an image of the couple with their wedding attendants.

We also get a chance to see Eugenie's evening outfit in another of the pictures popped on to Twitter and Instagram by the Royal Family and rather impressive it is, too. But we'll save the best til last....

What a photo. The romantic shot of the two kissing in a carriage is far more informal than your average royal wedding photo and all the better for it. It sums up what many watching on October 12th felt - that despite the pomp, the couple only had eyes for one another. A romantic end to a romantic wedding.
