Eugenie's Bridal Party

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have announced who will be in the bridal party at their wedding on Friday at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. And when it comes to their big day, it’s all about sibling support.

Eugenie’s big sister, Princess Beatrice, will act as he Maid of Honour while Jack has asked his brother, Thomas, to be his best man. Beatrice will have her hands full with the younger attendants at the ceremony – Eugenie has chosen six bridesmaids, aged between four and seven, and two pageboys, both under the age of six.

As expected both Prince George and Princess Charlotte are included in the bridal party just as they were when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex married in Windsor earlier this year. Prince George (5) will be joined in his duties by Louis de Givenchy, son of Zoe and Olivier de Givenchy.

Charlotte, now three, is a bridesmaid alongside Peter and Autumn Philips’ two daughters, Savannah (7) and Isla f(6). Zara and Mike Tindall’s eldest child, four year old Mia, will also be an attendant and there is a place, too, for the bride’s goddaughter, Maud, who is the elder daughter of Lord Frederick Winsor and his wife, Sophie. Robbie Williams and Ayda Field’s little girl, Theodora Williams (6), is also in the bridal party.

And proving just how much of a family affair this really is, there are two other members of the bridal party with very close links to Eugenie. Her cousins, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, will also be involved as ‘’Special Attendants’’. The exact role that Louise, 14, and her ten year old brother, James, will become clearer at the wedding.

As the announcement was made, the couple shared some previously unseen images of themselves with their siblings to underline just how important Beatrice and Thomas are to their celebrations. The princesses are seen as young bridesmaids at a wedding while the groom and his brother are shown in a happy family snap.

Yesterday, as the final countdown to the wedding got under way, the couple shared some other images of themselves on the official Royal Family account. The photos, which included snaps from holidays in France and Scotland as well as pictures of them as children, were published alongside a link to a special web page where all the details of their forthcoming ceremony can be found.

Princess Eugenie of York, ninth in line to the throne, will marry Jack Brooksbank at St.George’s Chapel, Windsor on Friday October 12th. The ceremony begins at 11.30am.
