It might be more closely associated with other members of her Royal Family right now, but Kensington Palace can still lay claim to links with the Queen. And to keep in the spirit of the festive trees and garlands decking her other regal homes, the tree at KP is well and truly sparkling.

The huge fir tree, all thirty feet of it, went up several days ago at the London residence which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently call home (we won't be able to say that this time next year with Harry and Meghan's imminent move to Windsor). It's decked with what can only be described as humungous golden baubles as well as strings of lights and to cap it all there's a sparking star at the very top. Visitors will be able to see the tree between now and Twelfth Night.
