Victoria of Sweden is to become a mother for the second time. The future queen is expecting a baby in March 2016. The news was announced on Friday afternoon and follows weeks of speculation after the princess was snapped. on holiday with what was either a baby bump or a really, really good lunch. Baby bump wins.

Victoria has been seen out and about several times in recent days with her dad as they attended a string of joint engagements. But even if baby number two is a boy, Victoria's daughter has nothing to worry about. Estelle remains in line for the throne as succession laws in Sweden are totally equal.

And while the prospect of Victoria becoming a mum for the second time is exciting, the idea of Estelle being a big sister will probably be even more talked about. She will be four by the time she introduces her little brother or sister to the world and it's likely she'll steal the show.

And with Victoria pregnant, all eyes will now be on the tummy of her new sister in law, Sofia, who married Prince Carl Philip three months ago just before Princess Madeleine gave birth to a son. The Swedish royal baby boom shows no signs of slowing down just yet.
