Harry's May Photo Album

Bank Holidays are all about taking it easy and relaxing. No need to think too hard, how about a few photos? Prince Harry has had a busy month this May. To get it all in one place and remember just what a stand out month it's been for him, here are some of the best photos of Harry in May. Bank Holiday sorted.

Harry hit the headlines at the start of the month when he took to the polo field as part of the Audi Challenge on May 6th 2017. Nothing so unusual about this prince playing polo. Much more exciting was the appearance of Meghan Markle in the VIP box to watch her beau take to the field. It was their first formal public appearance together and got all kinds of wedding talk going.
Not only did Meghan come to watch a few pukkas, she also puckered up to her prince and appeared on the front of many newspapers sharing a smacker with the fifth in line to the throne. The tiara and title are all but picked.
A prince has got to keep himself busy while all that wedding speculation swirls and on May 13th, Harry with William and Kate hosted a garden party for the children of those who have died while serving with the Armed Forces.
Harry got into the party spirit with some plate spinning and giggling games. He also gave a speech telling the 850 children present the party was to celebrate them.
On May 18th 2017, Harry and William held a huge event for the Diana Award at St James' Palace.
The Diana Award celebrates the legacy of Harry and William's mum, focusing on her belief in the power of young people.

The princes presented the Inaugural Legacy Award celebrated the compassion and kindness of 20 young people from around the world and was given out just months before the 20th anniversary of Diana's death.

There was also a chance to see Harry in recorded action that same night as he appeared in Sky Sports School of Hard Knocks.
Days later we were back to wedding talk as Harry attended the marriage of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews on May 20th 2017.
The princes arrived at St Mark's Church in Englefield Green together. There was no Harry and Meghan at the church so the photos are all of a solo prince although we did get to see the couple arriving at the evening reception a little later. Harry and weddings, there's a theme here.

The prince headed off to Botswana in the last weeks of May where he attended a meeting of Rhino Conservation Botswana - he's their patron. There were no snaps of that trip but we did get a favourite photo of Harry shared on the Kensington Palace Twitter account as more details of his trips to Singapore and Sydney next month. He's due to attend engagements linked to his charity, Sentebale, and to officially launch Invictus Sydney at the start of June.
Harry was back on TV on May 25th 2017 when he took part in a TV programme with Dr Chris van Tulleken ending the stigma that can still, unfortunately, surround HIV.

On May 27th 2017, Harry met former US President, Barack Obama, at Kensington Palace where they talked about the work of their respective foundations. Chats about support for veterans, mental health issues, conservation and young people were also on the agenda. Not to mention one of the best royal photos of the month. We'll see more of Harry tomorrow as he attends the launch of the UK team for the Toronto Invictus Games. They take place in September - in the same city a certain Meghan Markle currently calls home. That's shaping up to be one serious royal photo album.
