The papers have been full of royal news this week but while the Duke of Edinburgh's impending retirement gets coverage inside the Sundays, it's another prince who makes the front pages. Harry and Meghan are headline news this weekend.

Put the hat away, there's no wedding. Yet. But the couple have made their first formal public appearance together and if that's not enough to get the engagement rumour mill cranked up again then nothing will. Meghan Markle was snapped watching Prince Harry play polo on Saturday May 6th and it's hit the front of several papers.

Meghan was spotted in a celeb heavy crowd at the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot where Harry was playing. Although they've been snapped together before, those times were during private dates. This is the first occasion they've publicly attended the same event. The Sunday Telegraph says things are ''getting serious''.

Most papers carry reports, too, that Meghan is set to be a guest at Pippa Middleton's wedding in two weeks' time which will no doubt lead to more speculation that Harry is about to tie the knot. After Meghan's decision to close her lifestyle blog, The Tig, and a noticeable downturn in posts to her personal social media accounts, engagement whispers are getting louder by the day. This year is turning out to be very royal indeed.
