There's no way of not seeing it: did Queen Camilla and Melania just make a State Banquet statement?

The Queen chose blue, the First Lady chose yellow and put those two together and you can't not see something. Namely, the colours of the flag of Ukraine.

Kate stuns for US State Banquet

There's one word and that word is stunning. With just minutes to go until the US State Banquet, William and Kate did the royal version of 'get ready with me for' and the Princess of Wales won.

The US State Visit produces an ultimate royal hat and it was worn by the First Lady

The US First Lady might just have beaten The Queen at a game she's used to winning - ultimate hat. Melania Trump chose a striking purple hat which had enough fashion forward thinking to put it at the head of the hat stakes.

The Royal Family says a final farewell to the Duchess of Kent

The Duke of Kent and his children were surrounded by family as they said a final farewell to the Duchess of Kent.

The beautiful meanings of the flowers chosen for the funeral of the Duchess of Kent

The flowers on the coffin of the Duchess of Kent had a deep significance that represented her own passions and her royal life. As the Royal Family bade a final farewell to the Duchess, her coffin was adorned with beautiful blooms that told her life story in the prettiest way.

Queen Sofia remains the ultimate draw for the Spanish royal family

It was the birthday of one of Spain's two queens but she wasn't the one getting the superstar treatment. As Queen Letizia turned 53 on September 15 2025, she was nowhere to be seen. But there were plenty of people who wanted to see her mother in law, Queen Sofia, who was given a superstar welcome on her latest appearance.

The prince who chose a statement tee for his birthday portrait and it's very Diana

He's in line to be the first man ever to hold a certain royal role in his country and as he marked his birthday, all eyes were on him. And that was the moment that Prince Daniel of Sweden chose to make a statement and it brought back memories of Diana.

Could Belgium be about to get a new prince?

The Belgian king got the summer off from problems with his family but that was then and this is now. Philippe's far from quiet and retiring younger brother, Prince Laurent, has just given gossip columnists enough to talk about until Christmas with the revelation that he had a son with a previous partner before he married. And as that son, now 25, talks it raises the question of whether Belgium could be about to get a new prince.

Giorgio Armani created one of the most famous royal wedding dresses ever - and I think it's perfect

Princess Charlene of Monaco on her wedding day, July 2nd 2011

There was perhaps never more pressure on a royal bride to pick the perfect dress. When Charlene Wittstock married Prince Albert II of Monaco on July 2nd 2011, she wasn't just walking down the aisle and into royal life. She was wearing the dress that was a sequel to one of the best known royal wedding gowns ever. Charlene was choosing a dress to wear to become the Princess of Monaco - just as Grace Kelly had done 45 years earlier. That gown is a royal legend. Charlene's dress was always going to get a lot of attention. And so she went to a designer who was more than ready for a royal close up. Giorgio Armani, who has died at the age of 91, was the man who made one of the most famous royal wedding dresses of the 21st century.

Kate's back and yes, she really has gone (a bit) blonde

It was the pressing question that ended the royal summer. Has the Princess of Wales gone a little bit blonder? The answer was revealed today as Kate started up royal engagements again. Absolutely, yes. What's more, it absolutely suits her.

I think it's obvious Elizabeth II was all for a big law change in her reign and the latest revelations don't alter that

When you're the longest reigning monarch in British history and feted internationally as one of the most successful leaders your country has ever produced, a change that makes it more likely one of your female descendants will get the same chances as you seems a no brainer. Which is why I think the latest headlines about Elizabeth II being ''lukewarm'' about the new succession laws that gave women equal rights with men are well off the mark.

Queen Camilla back in the duchy whose name she shared for so long

Queen Camilla was back in Cornwall as her royal diary got well and truly under way for a new season. And she packed plenty in during a day spent in the county whose name she shared for so long.

Spain's future queen takes to the sky

The future queen is now officially a Student Ensign at the Spanish Air and Space Force with twelve months of learning ahead that will conclude her historic stint with the Armed Forces.

Queen Camilla shows off her tartan carpet as King Charles announces musical news

The Royal Family always went all in on the full Scottish feel at Balmoral and now Queen Camilla has confirmed that she's keeping with the regal programme. As King Charles announced some exciting musical news, his consort revealed a carpet that Queen Victoria would have liked very much, to the point of being amused perhaps.
