The royal world is all about image. The modern audience want photos and they want them now. We are surrounded by more photos of royalty than ever before and among all the lovely smiles, lovely clothes and lovely moments are some images that provide a bit of a giggle. Here are four off guard moments from the week just gone.

You know how pesky those curtains can be. Prince Joachim of Denmark came over all Zorro as he unveiled a new logo at an airport. That is one determined prince. It kind of suits him.

And they're off.....King Willem-Alexander and President Joachim Gauck of Germany are ready for their dinners and heading for the soup and starters as Queen Maxima and Daniela Schadt keep smiling for the cameras ahead of an official meal at the Noordeinde Palace this week.

"Right now, a lot of interesting things are happening within the area of sustainable materials. And large investments are being made in the Swedish forestry industry. Therefore it is great that this large investment happens right here in Grums, in VÀrmland. I am convinced that this investment will mean a lot when it comes to growth, job opportunities, and belief in the future," said Prince Carl Philip after he broke the ground for the new cardboard machine at Gruvön's paper mill in Grums. #kungahuset #prinscarlphilip #grums #gruvönsbruk #billerudkorsnÀs

Carl Philip of Sweden popped back to his duchy of Varmland at the end of the week and found himself all alone on a building site. He really doesn't look too confident that the promise of a bit of help with a big job is on the way. Never mind, keep digging....
Harry and Kate pretend not to notice as William tries to start something. If the future king says you spilled his pint, just agree, he means business.
