The Prince of Wales will attend the funeral of Pope Francis in the Vatican City.
Prince William will represent The King at the service which will take place on the morning of April 26th 2025.
The heir to the throne will join the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, at the ceremony.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians had already confirmed their attendance as had King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain. US President Donald Trump will also attend.
However, there are problems in the Netherlands after the funeral was set for the same date as King's Day, one of the biggest events in the royal calendar. It's not yet been confirmed who will attend.
