Kate's pregnancy pause

That's one way to prove that there's no royal baby on the way.  After the Duchess of Cambridge had presented shamrocks to the Irish Guards in the tradition St Patrick's Day ceremony, she joined her husband for a drink.  And as Kate put the glass of sherry to her lips, hundreds of theories on a second Cambridge pregnancy shattered.

As if that wasn't enough to prove that the duchess isn't in the royal family way again, the Duke of Cambridge then told a guest at the reception that one baby was 'more than enough for now'.  And while no one really expected Kate to go to Australia in the early stages of pregnancy, a general expectation seemed to be growing that before Prince George turned one the duchess would be in a state of expectation once more.  One small sherry and a couple of words from her husband has proved that, for now, Kate is taking a pregnancy pause.
