William and Kate are in Balmoral for their Scottish summer holiday. The Prince and Princess of Wales were spotted arriving at church as the Royal Family came together for its annual gathering at the estate.
The couple, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, made the short trip from Balmoral to Crathie Kirk by car, accompanied by their three children. Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and seven year old Prince Louis looked to be having a great time as they were driven to the service by their father.
The Princess of Wales, sitting in the front next to William, smiled broadly as she arrived. Kate was wearing a deep berry red coat for the church service.
It was a proper Royal Family affair with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh there along with the Princess Royal and her husband, Sir Tim Laurence. And there was a proper royal welcome, too, as the Balaklava Company formed a guard of honour on the way into the church. The Royal Family traditionally spends the last part of its summer break at Balmoral and King Charles took up residence there several days ago with a traditional ceremony marking his arrival.
