Kate in the royal box

After a two year absence, Kate is back at Wimbledon.  The Duchess of Cambridge had become a regular feature at the All England Tennis Championships after her marriage but had to miss Andy Murray's big moment last year as she was 9 months pregnant and about to give birth to Prince George.  This time round, she's not missing out and has hit the Royal Box on Centre Court on men's quarter finals day.  Game, set and match to the royal tennis fan.

Get ready for more photos of this dress - Kate had donned it for her 2014 visit to Wimbledon

The duchess is wearing her white, Zimmerman broderie anglaise dress (last seen as she took a run down Manly Beach in Sydney on her tour of Australia) with a clutch bag that looks like a fan.  And after a bit of a bad hair day yesterday, the famous Kate locks are back to their shiny best.

The duchess isn't the first royal at Wimbledon this year.  As well as the Duke of Kent - who is President of the All England Club - the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex have taken their seats in the Royal Box as have Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.  But Kate has the field to herself today.  All she needs now is a chance to stand up and cheer Andy Murray - but that one is out of her hands.
