The Royal Wardrobe: 5 fab fashion moments

Queen Letizia of Spain in white at an engagement in Madrid in the week

One week, five great fashion statements and all with a summer theme. We've had big prints, huge colours and a moment of quiet, pastel reflection. If you can pick between them, then there is a poll on the main page (find it here). In the meantime, sit back and enjoy five fab fashion moments from the royal week just gone.

It was all about white for Queen Letizia of Spain this week. On an engagement in Madrid she looked calm and cool in white trouser and top with an off cream, over sized jacket and beige shoes. It was a mix of colours made in fashion heaven and Letizia looked super chic as she stepped out in her pale and interesting outfit.

Much brighter for Princess Charlene of Monaco as she headed to the opera in a green tropical print evening dress. The pattern was stunning, the colour was striking and the cut, especially the neckline, was super chic. And there was a super little belt as well. A great look from Charlene.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark went for one great big block of colour as she hosted a reception in Copenhagen. The purple is picture perfect while the soft shaping with statement waist is simple and stylish. Summer loveliness from Mary.

Princess Madeleine went for a bold print in the week as well as she attended a folk event. Her dress is bold and beautiful and the belt adds the shape it needs to move it from rather nice to top of the class.

Queen Maxima stuck to her fifties vibe with a peach of a dress chosen for a cultural event in Amsterdam. It was pure vintage inspiration for this fitted dress which carried off the bright colours and striking pattern to perfection.Another winner from the royal style icon of 2016 so far.
