King Felipe and Queen Letizia

King Felipe VI has taken the oath and made his pledges to the people of Spain and for the first time, he has received the applause and cheers of his fellow citizens as their monarch rather than their heir. Queen Letizia looked on proudly as her husband fulfilled his destiny in a short ceremony in Madrid before an open car ride through the city and an appearance on the balcony of the Royal Palace.  A public event but with some very private moments./
