Letizia and the look of love

Since Christmas, the Prince and Princess of Asturias have faced questions over the state of their marriage with all kinds of rumours of crisis springing up about the future king and queen.  But as the royal family approaches what will surely be one of its most difficult days ever - the appearance of the Infanta Cristina in court on February 8th - Felipe and Letizia have gone all loved up with a quick cuddle at one of Spain's most famous landmarks.

The couple were on a visit to the Alhambra in Granada when they decided to get up close and personal for a snap.  Arms round one another and big smiles were their best response to suggestions that making it as far as their tenth wedding anniversary in May might be a stretch.  Add to that the prince matching his tie to his wife's lipstick in a very clever bit of colour co-ordination and the image was of a happy pair with a united front.  Whether it will completely silence claims the marriage is still experiencing 'ups and downs' remains to be seen.
