Vogue's new royal cover star

Crown Princess Mary is on the front cover of Vogue Australia this month

Move over Kate, there's a new royal Vogue cover star in town. Crown Princess Mary is on the front of the August edition of the Australian version of the magazine and while Kate went country chic, Mary dons a tiara and evening dress for Vogue.

The Crown Princess of Denmark has been photographed for the magazine by Mario Testino and she's brought her family along too. The cover photo features Mary arm in arm with her husband. Crown Prince Frederik, while inside the magazine is a cuddly group picture of the couple with their four children, Christian, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine.

Mary also gives an interview to Vogue Australian's editor-in-chief, Edwina McCann, in which she talks about her charity work and the responsibilities that come with her royal role. The magazine goes on sale on July 11th 2016.  It's not the first time Mary has appeared on the magazine's front cover - she was a Vogue star over a decade ago, just after her marriage to Crown Prince Frederik. A lot has changed in the twelve years since but Mary still suits being a Vogue cover star down to the ground.
