It was a very different look for the Duchess of Cambridge and it proved a winner. The white off the shoulder dress worn to the Museum of the Year Awards in London easily topped the latest poll to find the best royal style statement of the past week. Kate really did wow in white.
The Duchess of Cambridge rarely does off the shoulder and this dress, by Brazilian designer Barbara Casasola, was a big surprise and a very welcome one.
On top of the unusual top, there's a feature waist, flared skirt and all in a jersey fabric with mesh inserts. Its modern evening glamour for 2016 and it looked great while the strappy sandals gave it a real summer feel.
Kate clearly loved wearing the dress, providing some of the most relaxed photos of her we've seen in a while.
The popular choice easily beat out the other selections in this week's Royal Wardrobe (see them all here) and provided a look we won't easily forget from the Duchess of Cambridge.
