The peachy queen

The new king and queen of the Netherlands have finished their tour of the royal courts of Europe which they've undertaken to mark their accession.  Last stop on this very posh city break was Stockholm where they met King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia at the Royal Palace.

As is usual on these trips, the Dutch monarchs had lunch with their fellow royals before heading off to meet leading politicians including Swedish Prime Minister, Frederik Reinfeldt. They also visited the Swedish parliament.  And Queen Maxima ended her royal tour all peachy with a blush coloured top and dark brown skirt.  The monarchs who started their reign in the spring are now heading into their first winter as king and queen.
