Copenhagen Fashion Week got under way yesterday with Crown Princess Mary lending her support. The princess, who has won a fearsome reputation for fashion, took a seat in the front row as this style event marked its tenth anniversary.

Mary chose another stellar combo as she headed into see the Autumn Winter 2016 collections. A long navy coat won plenty of praise before it was draped elegantly on the back of her chair to reveal a beige blouse with ruffle effect and a pair of navy print trousers.

Mary, who is a regular at the Fashion Week, then settled down to watch the show which took placed at the Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen.

Her former sister-in-law, Countess Alexandra, was also there but there was no picture of the women together. Mary watched the catwalk before heading backstage to meet designers including Jesper Hovring who has designed several of her outfits including the famous navy blue dress she wore to the Bambi Awards in 2014.

And Mary was a la mode in blue again as she got Copenhagen Fashion Week off to a flying start.
