Letizia's laid back end to State Visit number two

So now we know. Letizia has a State Visit pattern. We start with lots of changes, dig out the dogtooth coat for the political centrepiece and then as the end approaches it's time for casual. We got an on trend suede dress in Paris and to close proceedings in Mexico it was white trousers and top and a palest pink jacket.  All cool, calm and casual.

The outfit was worn for a visit to Zacateacas to end the official tour. Her husband stepped off the plane without a tie while the queen chose a loose fittingm, relaxed look that definitely said time to go home.

Accompanied by their hosts, President Enrique Pena Nieto and his wife Angelica Rivera, they spent some time at the Museum of Guadalupe as the visit came to an end.

There was also time for lunch before the couple ended their first State Visit as a king and queen to the Americas. They will return to North America later this year - they have been invited to visit the White House by President Barack Obama. For now it's back to their agenda at home but we're ready now. Next time Letizia heads off on a State Visit we know just what to expect from her wardrobe.
