It's all rather relaxed on this royal visit. The Crown Prince and Princess of Norway have headed to Canada for a four day stay. with a focus on co-operation and innovation, and they are keeping it laid back. Haakon Magnus and Mette-Marit made their first appearance in Ottawa at a friendly supper with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau.

The snap of the start of this visit was shared by Justin Trudeau on his Twitter account and shows the four settling down to a rather cosy meal. Definitely no tie needed and the Canadian Prime Minister has left the jacket behind as well.
It came just hours after the Crown Prince and Princess of Norway announced their arrival in Canada by sharing a selfie on the official royal Twitter account. With Norway's royals now on Instagram as well, this is going to be a social media visit and then some. And it all started with dinner with Trudeau.
