When you look like you stepped from a picture book and that album was taken in a royal palace, topping a style poll should be a doddle. And that's just what it was for Princess Charlene of Monaco who won this week's Royal Wardrobe poll in the outfit worn for her country's National Day.

Charlene's black coat and Fifties style hat was a winner in the style stakes. The combination of black, red and white - including red nails and her signature red lipstick - topped the poll ahead of the Countess of Wessex who was in second.  Queen Letizia was third while Crown Princess Mary finished the line up.

Charlene had a high profile during celebrations for National Day, helping distribute gifts at the Red Cross as well as taking her son, Prince Jacques, on a tour of the frigate, Guepratte, before joining her husband in leading Monaco's royals on the big day itself. She rounded celebrations off by attending the gala held at the end of November 19th. A winning week for Charlene with a win in the style polls as well.
