The royal twins of Monaco have turned two. Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella celebrate their second birthday today and to mark the occasion their proud mum and dad have shared photos of the party they held for their son and daughter earlier this week in Monaco.
Jacques and Gabriella were joined by their godparents and by some of their friends from their nursery school at the party which took place at the Nautical Society of Monaco on December 7th 2016.
There was a jungle theme which meant tiger balloons and the chance to stick heads through giant cardboard flowers - pretty much perfect for two year olds.
Princess Gabriella Therese Marie of Monaco was born at 5.04pm on December 10th 2014. Two minutes later her brother, Prince Jacques Honore Rainier arrived - Monaco's laws mean he became Hereditary Prince and first in line to the throne. Gabriella has the title of Countess of Carlades.
The twins have had a high profile in recent months, taking part in celebrations marking Monaco's national day as well as enjoying the Christmas village with their parents in the run up to their birthdays. Now, as they turn two, they and their parents have yet more fun to enjoy. Happy Birthday, Jacques and Gabriella.
