You can't beat sweets at Christmas and what could be sweeter than a spot of pick and mix. The traditional selection promises something for everyone - a bit like this week's Royal Wardrobe. From Christmas jumpers to party dresses, we've seen just about all that fashion has to offer and then some this week. As Christmas approaches, anything goes - here are five moments of festive fabulousness from the week just gone. Pick your favourite from this mix in the poll to the right.

The glittery dress
Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without sparkle and sequins and Queen Letizia was clearly in the festive spirit as she donned a disco diva dress for an outing in Madrid. We've got colour, we've got glitter, we've got what could turn into a sophisticated deckchair if left to run away with itself. Of course, style icon Letizia kept it all in check and even shook up the hair with a radical (for her) slicked back look. The glitterball for glamour this week goes to Letizia.

Festive red
Nothing says Christmas more than a dose of red which is lucky for Princes Charlene as she has made it her go to colour in the past few months. OK, it's Monaco's national shade as well but Charlene has all but lived in it for weeks now. Her latest was a super chic coat that was a masterclass in masterful cutting. The shape and the drape were perfection while the white shirt, grey trousers and gold shoes were about as elegant as they come. And as it's Christmas we'll let her off with wearing red again and hope for a royal New Year's resolution to try another colour.

The Christmas Jumper
Everyone loves a Christmas jumper and while the Duchess of Cambridge may not have gone the whole red nosed reindeer with sound effects route so beloved at this time of year, her latest sweater choice was a chic festive look all round. The pick for a visit to the cubs in the week was paired with brown skinny jeans which left the big polo neck and cut away sleeves to do all the talking with a little bit of help from the compulsory woggle. Rather chic if a little on the understated side for a true Christmas jumper.

A Christmas cracker
Crown Princess Victoria pulled off a Christmas cracker of a look during her visit to Italy with a rewear of a dress that won plenty of fans earlier this year. Her blue, white and black striped gown, first seen at celebrations for her father's 70th birthday in April, is about as stylish as they come from the cross patterning of the stripes to the fabulous frill at the end of the skirt. Cracking all round.

Winter white
The Countess of Wessex went for white and won as she visited Ascot for a Christmas meeting. Sophie was a winter wonder in a creamy coat with strappy black belt  as she enjoyed a day out with her family. This is festive dressing at its best and sets the bar high for the Christmas looks at Sandringham in the coming days.
