More royal Christmas cards

It's always the way. With just days to go until Christmas, there's a mad rush to get the cards sent and the presents wrapped and after a hectic day you get home to a pile of festive missives from others who wanted to leave spreading the spirit of the season until a bit closer to the big day itself. The royals are no different. While William and Kate might have been super organised and got their festive photo out with a week to go, that other fab family of four - the Monaco royals - waited until just before Christmas to share their card with the world.

In the photo, the family pose by a Christmas tree with Prince Jacques sat happily on his dad's knee while Princess Gabriella cosies up to mum and has a bit of a chew to help her teething. The room is a perfect Christmas setting with decorations decking the mantelpiece and pictures - quite possibly the last time in several years that this household with twins in it will look anywhere near neat and tidy once the tinsel is out.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry also revealed his Christmas card and as we've come to expect from the prince of hearts, it was a heart melter. Reminding us all of why we love him so much, Harry chose a picture of him with one of his heroes of the year to feature on his special card.

The image was taken on his 31st birthday when he took part in events marking the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The black and white photo, taken by Press Association photographer John Stilwell, shows Harry holding hands with Battle of Britain veteran, 95 year old Tom Neil. The prince had been due to fly in a Spitfire that day but when another plane developed a technical fault, he gave his seat up so that Mr Neil could take part in the flight. Harry said this was one of his most memorable moments of 2015 and by putting it on his Christmas cards, he's made it pretty special all over again.
