Just ten days to go until Christmas which means that pretty soon we'll get another chance to see the royals attending Christmas services. And while most of the attention falls on the women in the party to check out the fashion, the men provide a bit of continuity by generally turning up in the same colour coat and trousers as every year in living memory. For December 15th, Royals at Christmas looks at five princes in the snow..and ice...and possibly a bit of rain.
Prince Sverre Magnus of Norway went for sensible boots in the ice of 2013 while his dad, Haakon Magnus, chose shiny shoes. Luckily for the king in waiting someone had cleaned the snow away from the stone steps.
Prince Charles does like a tan coloured coat for his trip to church on Christmas. In 2014, it proved the perfect contrast to Kate's brown choice.
His sons, William and Harry, proved that brothers really do stick together by attending the same festive service in almost identical navy blue trousers and look twice to tell them apart coats
Prince Henri of Denmark and his son, Prince Joachim, went for matching colours at a Christmas service in 2007
Prince Philip prefers to keep it festive in traditional green on a walk to Sandrigham and makes it a perfect Christmas scene by standing next to his own princess, Anne, in red
