Prince Henrik of Denmark turns 7 on May 4th 2016
The Danish Royal Family are great at official photos for birthdays, big or small, and as Prince Henrik the younger turns 7 there is another set of lovely snaps for everyone to enjoy. The third son of Prince Joachim is looking about as much like his dad as is possible in these photos and one of them is a lesson in charming royal portraits all by itself.
A prince in the window - Henrik of Denmark at 7
We're used to close ups and there's a very nice one of those of this prince at seven in the set of pictures taken at the end of April by Steen Brogaard. But the portrait of the prince sitting on a window seat, smiling from behind his folded arms is what being seven is all about. It's got bags of character as well as being a rather striking photo of the ninth in line to the throne of Denmark.
