Kate wins a Battle Royale

Victory to the Duchess and by quite a margin.  On day five of their tour of New Zealand, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have raced each other - with the help of some very experienced yacht crews - around Auckland Harbour. And Kate won.  Twice.

The royals and two crews from the Team New Zealand Americas Cup crew took to the waters in the harbour for a couple of battle royales and it was Kate all the way.  When the couple last raced each other, in Canada in 2011, they were newlyweds and William won.  Now, three years into their marriage, it's the duchess who is firmly in charge.  On the water at least.
