Royal mother love

A queen is a queen for life but there is one role that comes above even that, mother.  And Queen Paola has been seen with every moment of a mother's worry etched on her face visiting her youngest child, Laurent, in hospital where he has been treated for the last fortnight.

The queen and King Albert II, along with their daughter Princess Astrid, visited the prince in hospital as his treatment for pneumonia continues.  And while she may have kept dignified silence in public there was no doubting that Paola, at this moment, was a mother first and queen second as she worried for her boy's health.
