A happy ending and a happy beginning
Prince George didn't look so sure about it as he and his parents arrived at the airport for their flight home from Australia but there is no doubt that this royal tour has been a huge success. After three weeks of engagements in Australia and New Zealand, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are no doubt juggling jet lag with reflections on a month that has been well received, well documented and well done.
The couple and their son have been hugely popular everywhere they go while the tour coverage has been hugely positive. And after a quiet start to the year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are back as the big stars of the British royals. Apart from George. A little king in waiting who, in just a month, has taken over as the royal everyone wants to see. This tour has put the Cambridges at the very heart of the Royal Family - they are its future and the last three weeks have shown just how well they can manage things. A tour with a happy ending that is really a happy beginning.
