Prince George visits his baby sister

It's the moment we've all been waiting for. Prince George has arrived at the Lindo Wing to meet his baby sister for the very first time. The future king was helped out of the car by his father, the Duke of Cambridge, after daddy had headed home to collect his son about eight hours after the birth of the new Princess of Cambridge. And George gave us a wave before dad gave him a kiss as wellwishers cheered them both.

Two kings to be come to meet a new princess

Prince George began to walk towards the hospital after leaving the car but then reached out to daddy for a helping hand and William carried his son towards the steps while they both waved to the cameras. They paused briefly with William smiling and George looking slightly bewildered by the attention before some more waving. And then just to make us all go 'aah' even more, William planted a reassuring kiss on George's head.

The royal boys then headed in to meet the royal girls and spend some time together as a family of four. It's not yet clear when The Duchess of Cambridge will leave hospital but there are reports it may be imminent.
