Crown Princess Mary of Denmark launches a ship on June 13th 2016
It was a busy day for Europe's royals with just about every house having a list of engagements. Here's a round up of the stories that made the royal headlines on June 13th 2016.
While Crown Princess Mary of Denmark launched a ship on June 13th, her mother in law, Queen Margrethe, was setting foot on dry land again after arriving in the Faroe Islands on the royal yacht Dannebrog for her regular visit. The trip will last four days.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands paid a visit to north west Friesland today with stops including an education campus, a tomato growing operation and sheltered accommodation for older people. There was also time for some walkabouts with big crowds turning out for the royal couple.
Queen Letizia of Spain was in Salamanca where she presented a new national flag to the Engineers Regiment.
King Felipe travelled to France to cheer on Spain in their first match of Euro 2016 against the Czech Republic.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the opening day of teh EAT Forum in Stockholm where delegates are discussing a healthier and more sustainable global food future.
The Queen led members of the Royal Family at the annual Order of the Garter parade in Windsor. The Duchess of Cornwall, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex all watched the procession with its many royal members. One day summed up in the Royal Headlines.
