With just months to go until the moment they always said would be a high point of their Heads Together campaign, the London Marathon, the royal trio that is William, Kate and Harry have been speaking out about their ambitions for the project. At a briefing in London we got a trio of royal speeches and a focus on the future as Heads Together keeps on running.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry attended a briefing for Heads Together at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.

The three all gave speeches outlining the next stage of the campaign which was launched last April on the day of the London Marathon and which, this year, will be that big event's official charity.

They also met some of the 500 plus people who are already committing to running more than 26 miles for Heads Together including TV newsreader, Sian Williams. Other high profile supporters at the event included football star, Rio Ferdinand, who has played a big part in Heads Together since its launch in 2016.

Kate, William and Harry have said throughout the campaign that they want to get people talking about mental health and this latest event underlined that. All three talked about the importance of speaking out and talking to others when dealing with mental health issues and they said that the focus in the immediate run up to the London Marathon would be on getting people to reach out and talk if they needed support.

Heads Together brings together some of the charities that Kate, William and Harry work with that focus on mental health issues. Since the campaign was launched, the three have taken on a range of engagements with those organisations to shine a spotlight on mental health and talked, many times, about the importance of making good mental health as much of a priority as good physical health.

This latest event brought together their ambitions for Heads Together so far and set their sights on the London Marathon - it might be all about running but Kate, William and Harry want plenty of talking beforehand.
