The Queen has it covered

The Queen makes the cover of several newspapers the day after attending church at Sandringham

Given that it's the first time we've seen her since last year, it's perhaps not surprising that the Queen's visit to church on Sunday is the cover story for many papers this Monday morning. The appearance of Elizabeth II at St Mary's Church makes the front of several tabloids and some broadsheets.

The sight of the Queen in her royal blue hat and coat, in the back of the car that brought her to and from church, pops up on the Mail, the Express and the Scotsman.

There's no sign on the front pages of the other royal lady at church on January 8th. Kate's new furry hat is relegated to the inside pages on her 35th birthday - the Queen has this one covered.
