Kate on a not so blue Monday

The Duchess of Cambridge in blue was this week's Royal Wardrobe poll topper

Blue was the colour last week for the Royal Wardrobe and in a seven days that included just about as many versions of that colour, it was the Duchess of Cambridge who came out on top. Kate won the poll to find the favourite outfit of the week, dressed all in blue.

The coat that topped the poll for Mrs Cambridge was a new design by Eponine London in cobalt blue with a flared skirt and fitted belt. It was worn to two engagements on January 11th when Kate visited the Anna Freud Centre in London by herself before teaming up with her hubby for a visit to Child Bereavement UK.

William's dark suit came nowhere near to toppling his wife from the top of the style tree. Kate's winning look also included a pair of navy shoes and loose, low key hair. Put it all together and you get a poll topper - most likely not the last time we'll say that about the duchess and her dresses this year.

You can find all the poll winners from this year's Royal Wardrobe surveys on a special page here.
