From life under the ocean waves to a glittering red carpet event, it's been a packed seven days for Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. We've had hats, coats and evening dresses and ribbons that need cutting as well as a chance to hear Mary talk about an issue close to her heart. Sit back and enjoy, here's Mary's week.

Mary's week got under way as she accompanited her mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe, to a reception at the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen to mark the Maritime Forum which was taking place in the Danish capital from October 24th to 28th. The reception, on October 25th, focused on the work going on at the forum which featured industry leaders from around the world.

The Crown Princess of Denmark had the duty this week of inaugurating the final part of a brand new emergency department at Randers Hospital in central Denmark on October 25th. The first part came into service in 2014 and this new section includes a new emergency room - Mary cut the ribbon to complete the official opening.

Mary was given a tour of the new facilities, including the ambulance hall, and there was also time for a walkabout as patients, staff and their families turned out to see their royal visitor.

We got a bit of red carpet glamour from Mary as the week went on as she attended the Danish Talent Award for 2016 held at Copenhagen's Natioanl Gallery. Floor length burgundy with statement sleeves, anyone? Thought so, Mary looked fab during the glitziest part of her week.

Mary ended her week in Rodby where she visited a school to talk about how young people can help those in other parts of the world whose lives are tougher than those of the children she met. She was there to help launch the State of the World Population Report 2016 - she is a patron. Talking to the young people there, she told them of the chances cut off to many girls around the world and highlighted the issues facing young men and women, urging her audience to think of them and understand that they could help. And she played football in heels. Just another regular week for Crown Princess Mary.
