There's no real big deal usually when Queen Maxima heads home to Argentina for a few days. But her trip this October was a bit more special. For the very first time, Maxima visited the land of her birth in her role as a special representative of the United Nations Secretary General on Inclusive Finance. That's a pretty big deal.

Maxima's trip began on October 11th when she visited a university and met leading politicians and finance experts. On October 12th she headed off for an audience with the President of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, to disucss how Argentina can make finance more inclusive.
Following the meeting, the Queen of the Netherlands took part in a press conference addressing some of the big issues that had come up during her trip back home. Inclusive finance is a topic very close to Maxima's heart and she has made several high profile trips in recent months to discuss and promote this very area. But this visit back home in her special role had an added meaning. Maxima was all smiles as she ended this stand out Argentina trip.
Love to see more exciting places regarding to Argentina.
