A snowy holiday for Charlotte and George

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have taken George and Charlotte ski-ing for the first time and judging by the photos shared by the family today, the little prince and princess loved every second of it.

Princess Charlotte has had her first snowy holiday with mum, dad and big brother, George

Kate and William shared a mini album of snowy snaps taken on March 3rd on a private holiday to the French Alps.

The photos show the family at play on the slopes and feature a very special image - the first of William holding Charlotte in public.

These special moments were caught on camera by John Stillwell, the royal photographer of PA, who has given us several lovely images to treasure. Princess Charlotte has a cheeky grin breaking through while Prince George looks very serious about this snowy, ski-ing business.

And there's also a chance to see William and Kate at play as they throw a bit of snow at one another and take a moment, just a moment, to relax as their two year old and ten month old children have fun in the snow.

As the photos were released, it was revealed that this is the Cambridges first holiday as a family of four and also the first time that either George or Charlotte has played in the snow. Judging by the fun they all seem to be having, it's won't be the last time we see the Cambridges hit the slopes. Stand by for more snowy fun.
